Grade EN 1.4724
Grade EN 1.4724
Material 1.4724 / AISI 405 is a heat-resistant ferritic chromium steel with added aluminium, which is particularly suitable for chemical plants, boiler construction and heat exchangers. Material 1.4724 is frequently used in furnace construction due to its resistance up to approx. 850°C. Due to its increased chromium content, it is more resistant to scaling than material 1.4713. Thanks to its good resistance to aggressive media and high temperatures, 1.4724 is a favoured choice for applications where long-term stability and reliability are required.
We supply stainless steel 1.4724 from stock as cold or hot-rolled sheet, rings, discs, tubes made from sheet metal or drawing parts according to your specifications.
