Grade EN 1.4550
Grade EN 1.4550
Material 1.4550 / AISI 347 is an austenitic, niobium-stabilized chromium-nickel stainless steel that has been specially developed for use at elevated temperatures. Stabilization with niobium (Nb) binds the carbon, preventing the formation of chromium carbides and significantly improving resistance to intergranular corrosion. Material 1.4550 / AISI 347 is therefore particularly suitable for applications in which components are exposed to high temperatures and must also be welded.
NICROMAL supplies material 1.4550 / AISI 347 as sheet metal, round steel, flat steel, pipe, ring, round stock, forged part, or drawing part according to your specifications.
