Grade EN 1.4547
Grade EN 1.4547
Material 1.4547 / 254Smo is an austenitic, stainless, chromium-nickel-molybdenum stainless steel. Thanks to its increased molybdenum content and the addition of nitrogen, material 1.4547 / 254Smo has good mechanical properties and very good resistance to pitting, crevice and surface corrosion.
Material 1.4547 / 254Smo is non-magnetic in the solution-annealed state. A slight magnetization can occur in cold-finished rods or wires due to the formation of deformation martensite.
NICROMAL supplies material 1.4547 / 254Smo as sheet metal, round steel, flat steel, pipe, ring, round stock, forged part, or drawing part according to your specifications.
