Material 1.4462, also known as X2CrNiMoN22-5-3, is a duplex stainless steel which, thanks to its combination of an austenitic and ferritic material, has high strength and excellent corrosion resistance in a wide range of demanding applications, material 1.4462 can be found in particular in the offshore industry, the chemical industry and water treatment.
