Grade EN 1.4429

Material 1.4429 / 316LN (X2CrNiMoN17-13-3) is a stainless austenitic stainless steel with increased corrosion resistance. The addition of molybdenum and nitrogen gives material 1.4429 / 316LN very good resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. Material 1.4429 / 316LN is used when high corrosion resistance and/or good mechanical properties are required. The molybdenum content minimizes the risk of stress corrosion cracking.

NICROMAL supplies material 1.4429 / 316LN as sheet metal, sheet metal pipes, round steel, rings, discs, or custom-made parts according to your specifications.
