Material 1.4418 / X4CrNiMo16-5-1 offers an outstanding combination of high strength, good toughness values (even at low temperatures), and very good corrosion resistance in aggressive media. Material 1.4418 is used for all types of parts subject to mechanical and corrosive stress, such as shafts, axles, centrifuge parts, and pump parts in the automotive industry, the chemical industry, the aerospace industry, and in mechanical and plant engineering.
NICROMAL supplies material 1.4418 as sheet metal, round steel, rings, forged parts, or blocks.
